Now that you know the names and definitions of the basic principles of the U.S. Constitution, it's time to apply them. Find and read an article with some national news, from either a newspaper or on-line source and fill the information requested below:
1. Write a very brief description of the article and mention the facts: names, events, etc.
2. Identify the basic principle(s) of the U.S. Constitution that you find in the article.
3. Show how the facts in the article are illustrative of the basic principle you identified. (show the connection between the facts and the principle)
4. How might this principle relate to you, personally?
5. Write down one or more questions you have about this government principle.
6. Draw a visual representation of the principle.
